Recognizing the need to help owners provide medical services for their pets, GAPS was born in 2014 & partners with Purrfurred Pets Veterinary Clinic and other non-profit organizations. We work to provide low/no-cost spay & neuter events and assistance with medical needs. Since our partnership, over 16,000 spay & neuters have been performed!

Approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year and roughly 3.7 million are euthanized. Spay & Neuter is the only viable solution in ending pet overpopulation. Accidental litters are the major contributor to the problem.
Cute puppies and kittens are born every day and end up in shelters throughout the country, oftentimes never finding a forever home. Euthanasia is a real and likely outcome for many of these loving, healthy adoptable pets that were left behind.
